I went to see the doctor for acute neck pain. Everything in the appointment seemed fine and friendly. But I was looking at my chart later and she wrote “Transvestism” in my chart!!! I am AFAB, visibly queer, and have leg hair so she thinks I’m cross dressing?
Now “Transvestism” is in my chart. I hope this doesn’t affect my care in the future, or my health insurance standing or something.
